You can stop relatively quickly without brakes, but this guy wasn’t trying to stop…he was trying for distance. You failed to notice the bikes leaning up against a car, or that the three hipsters have cameras out and were ready for pictures. With that information, you can’t really draw the conclusion “If you could stop your bike, it wouldn’t matter.”
